About

Dancers from around the world aged between 8-19 years compete on stage with various classical classes & variation performances to become one of the CD Scholarship winners. Competitors have the opportunity to be awarded training opportunities to international prestigious ballet schools, specialised Award Masterclasses & feedback from our world renowned panel of judges.

Additionally, our finals night is a showcase of the selected top 8 dancers across our 4 levels, plus our direct entry finalists from our Masterclasses and also includes a guest performance from professional ballerinas.

Performance Schedule

Sunday 13 April 2025:

Judged Class Level 1 A & B, Level 2 A& B: 8am – 12.40pm – Aproximately four hours and 40 minutes

Judged Class Level 3 A & B, Level 4 A& B: 1.10pm – 6pm – Aproximately four hours and 50 minutes

Monday 14 April 2025:

Variations Selections Level 1 & 2: 7.40am – 1.10pm – Aproximately five hours and 15 minutes

Variations Selections Level 3 & 4: 1.40pm – 8.55pm – Aproximately seven hours and 15 minutes

Tuesday 15 April 2025:

Awards Masterclass Level 4 A & B, Level 2 A & B: 8am – 12pm – Aproximately four hours

Awards Masterclass Level 3 A & B, Level 1 A & B: 12.30pm – 4.30pm – Aproximately four hours

Free Q&A with our Judges and Claudia Dean: 4.45pm – 5.15pm – Aproximately 30 minutes

Finals & Awards Ceremony: 5.30pm – 7pm – Aproximately one hour and 30 minutes

After Party & Meet and Greet: 7pm – 7.45pm

Claudia Dean

Claudia Dean is an Australian Dancer and the Founder and Director of Claudia Dean World. After joining the Royal Ballet School in London in 2009, Claudia was then accepted into The Royal Ballet Company. Claudia retired in 2014 and moved back to Australia to create Claudia Dean World which consists of Ballet Coaching, Dancewear Collections, Ballet Improvement App, Worldwide Intensives & Daily Inspiration for dancers through her social media channels online. In 2024, Claudia and her team created CD Scholarships to fund & provide opportunities for the next generation of classical dancers.
