Parking
Important Update – Limited Parking from Monday 27 Oct – Sunday 2 Nov
Please note that we are updating our onsite parking provider to improve our visitor experience. Onsite public parking will not be available from Monday 27 October – Friday 31 October.
As we are transitioning to a new system, there will be no charge to park onsite on Saturday 1 November and Sunday 2 November, if you are attending dance classes, Layla restaurant, or one of the performances in the Talbot Theatre. Note that we do have a small car park with limited bays.
The new parking system does not require download of any Apps, and will provide a simpler entry process via card payment at the gate.
Thank you in advance for your patience whilst we make this transition.
Vehicle height
Please note our parking facility only accomodates vehicles up to 2.2m in height. Height bars will soon be installed.
Parking etiquette
Please be mindful that the Thomas Dixon Centre is in a residential area. We respect our neighbours, so please check the signage if you are looking for a street park, do not park across driveways, and note the changes to parking along Montague Road, where a new bus stop has been installed.
Alternative parking
The Montague Markets precinct offers two hours of free undercover parking until car park closing time at 10.30pm. The Montague Markets car park will then reopen at 6.30am the next day. This public car park is directly across the road from the Thomas Dixon Centre (entrance via Ferry Road).
If you, or anyone in your party, have requirements that need extra consideration, please let us know so we can make your visit smooth and enjoyable.
