Join us for a celebration of the exquisite artforms of ballet and music in this beloved collaboration between Queensland Ballet Academy and Queensland Youth Orchestras.

The program will feature a selection of ballet music performed by Queensland Youth Orchestras’ second symphony orchestra, QYO2, conducted by David Deacon. We will open with Gayane by Aram Khachaturian followed by the ever-popular Swan Lake Suite Op. 20a by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Our Pre-Professional Program dancers will then join the Orchestra on stage to perform Donizetti Variations, choreographed by Queensland Ballet Academy Ballet Master and Resident Choreographer, Paul Boyd.
