Sandpoppy Weaving
Led by proud Badjala and Woppaburra duo Aunty Barbara and Ann-Maree, this mum-and-daughter team bring their cultural knowledge, warmth, and resilience to every workshop they run. As Survivors and truth tellers, they use weaving as a powerful tool for healing, joy, and connection. Through their small Aboriginal-owned business, they create inclusive spaces for kids and families to connect with craft, culture, and each other. Honouring the 2025 theme The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, their workshops carry a legacy of strength and nurture the vision of future leaders. Their work has been embraced by organisations like Woodford Folk Festival, Salesforce, and The Pyjama Foundation.
