Upbeat Arts in Concert: More Voices, More Stories
More voices. More stories. More reasons to celebrate. This Mental Health Month, join us for Upbeat Arts in Concert, our biggest year yet. Four choirs, two writing programs and a special video performance from our Bundaberg choir, all coming together for one powerful afternoon of connection, creativity and community. Come and hear directly from members about what these programs mean to them.
About
Upbeat Arts in Concert is our annual Mental Health Month showcase, and this year we are celebrating more growth and more recovery. With two new choirs joining the program, we now bring together four choirs and two creative writing groups from across Queensland, each with their own voice and their own story to tell, with our Bundaberg choir joining us via video.
The concert will feature performances from each choir, moments where voices join together as one choir, and readings from our creative writing members. You will even have the chance to experience community singing for yourself. Along the way, you will meet the team who make it all possible and hear from some of our members in their own words about the difference these programs have made in their lives this year.
More than a concert, this is a celebration of belonging, achievement and the power of creative arts in mental health recovery. Come along and be part of it.
