Queensland Ballet engaged Brisbane-based independent curators Danielle Renshaw and Alison Kubler to procure works for the Thomas Dixon Centre that were truly unique, with a curatorial vision to build on the strong connection that Queenslanders have to ‘their’ ballet.
Working with specially commissioned artists Judy Watson, Jamie North and teamLab to realise bespoke artworks for Queensland Ballet, including specially commissioned built-in as well as changing ephemeral artworks, Renshaw and Kubler have looked to offer an immersive art experience for visitors.
