The Silent Cry of Flowers

About

Sthan Kabar-louet, former dancer with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, develops a choreographic language where classical technique, contemporary dance and emotional storytelling intertwine. Based in New Caledonia, he creates works deeply rooted in humanity, resilience and cultural dialogue. The Silent Cry of the Flowers is a contemporary dance work performed by nine dancers from L’Avant-Scène Centre de Danse. Through powerful physicality, poetic imagery and striking visual atmospheres, the piece explores exile, hope and the fragility of human existence. The musical universe plays a central role in the emotional journey of the work, blending the cinematic intensity of Max Richter, the organic electronic textures of Thylacine, the sensitive and dreamlike soundscapes of Kishi Bashi, and the intimate emotional depth of Elijah Siegler. Together, movement and music create a powerful, immersive experience of breathtaking beauty.
